The "WIZ GRID" was designed to aid Bomb Technicians with proper placement and precise aiming of a disrupter at a specific component within a device. The "WIZ GRID" is divided into two inch numbered squares, which are divided into a quarter inch grid work. The "WIZ GRID" is placed between the X-Ray and the device to be inspected. The "WIZ GRID" pattern will appear on the X-Ray film. If the battery is at Number 27, the disrupter can be aimed at that number. The "WIZ GRID" is removed and the disrupter is ready to be initiated.
